Weather Forces Change to Junior High Schedule & Calendar

Beginning Monday, March 2, 2020 we will adjust the Cheyenne Mountain Junior High School bell schedule and calendar in order to maintain the number of instructional hours mandated by the state of Colorado.

This change only impacts Cheyenne Mountain Junior High School because CMJH currently operates on the shortest daily bell schedule among all of our schools.

    • Beginning March 2, will will extend the Cheyenne Mountain Junior High School day by 10 minutes.
    • Dismissal time will move to 2:50 p.m.  The start time will remain the same.
    • Friday, April 17, 2020 (originally scheduled as a PLC day with no students) will now be a normal student attendance day at Cheyenne Mountain Junior High School only.  April 17 will remain a PLC day with no students at all other District 12 schools.
Board Adopts New Bell Schedules for 20-21

The Board of Education voted to adopt a revised bell schedule for all District 12 schools beginning with the 2020-2021 School Year.  To learn more about the new bell schedule and other Board of Education actions, download a copy of the most recent D-12 News and Updates here.

Being at the top of all schools in Colorado and the Nation in academic achievement is the result of students who come to school ready to learn, strong parent and community participation and support, and outstanding teachers, administrators, and a board of education who are committed to providing an environment conducive to all aspects of learning. Over 85% of our graduates go on to college, many in the most prestigious colleges and universities in the nation.
